Granite Electronics is Hiring an Installation Technician Near Saint Cloud, MN

The position of Installation Technician includes setup, programming, installation and removal of electronics communication equipment and related products. This requires a superior mechanical aptitude, technical skills and an understanding of wireless communication systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

Installation of mobile electronics equipment in vehicles (two-way radios, antennas, emergency lighting, sirens, computers, cameras, etc.)

Installation of base stations, repeaters, and consoles including antennas, antenna lines, and grounding (40 foot maximum climbing height)

Computer programming and checkout of radio equipment

Checkout and training with customer

Building and equipment maintenance, clean-up, and inventory

Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Minimum qualifications:

Detailed understanding of automotive electrical systems

Experience disassembling and reassembling vehicle interior/exterior trim and body components

Ability to work with hand and power tools

Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and move freely in the performance of the job

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, may be required to move 125 pounds from time to time

Ability to effectively communicate with customers and fellow employees

High school education
Valid drivers license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
