Summary: This position is responsible for creating, managing and maintaining policy forms library inventory which is the official repository. Serving as the gatekeeper by managing change control and maintaining version control of form usage and related metadata. Responsible for researching, designing, developing and identifying updates for enterprise forms.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Designs and develops declarations, forms, endorsements, contracts, and other policyholder documents for all new and existing products for all states. Completes the development of personal lines auto and home contracts with some assistance.
  • Creates, manages, and maintains policy forms library inventory which serves as the official repository. Enforces enterprise policy and regulatory required document standards for declarations, forms, endorsements, contracts, and other policyholder documents to ensure consistency across the organization.
  • Gathers stakeholders and manages the Policy Language Committee to support all initiatives and requests to research and provide historical information related to form effective dates and revisions. Owns documentation of gold standard language.
  • Coordinate, research, and respond to all certified policy requests and emerging trends. Serves as a liaison to the business, PL, CL, GTS, Legal and the Office of Compliance partners on all document related questions.
  • Works with the business units, PL, CL, GTS, Legal and the Office of Compliance partners to understand and execute workload to align with their priorities.
  • Develops and maintains competitor contract comparisons and recommends language approaches as appropriate based on competitor positioning.
  • Works independently on moderate to complex projects, tasks, and contracts.
  • Contributes to the development of best practices, principles, and techniques for the contract team.
  • Develops and demonstrates a high level of understanding and knowledge of personal lines contracts and forms, including industry trends, state legal/DOI requirements, and competitor landscape.
  • Participates in and supports Personal Lines forms related projects and priorities by providing analysis, insights, perspective, and recommendations, and responding to inquiries from business partners.
  • Provides analysis, insights and ad hoc support for rate revisions while communicating and supporting action plans.
  • Manages change control and maintains version control and form usage/effective metadata.
  • Manages the form change process to ensure implementation of agreed to changes (agent communication, internal training documents, BA templates/scope documents, DOI filing materials, timeline coordination). Verifies with project management team who validates that all document/form related deliverables have been completed prior to the production release date.

What You’ll Bring To The Company:

Four-year professional degree and/or comparable education and experience preferred with education concentration on business, risk management, information technology and/or general management. Preferred three years of personal lines or commercial lines product or other industry related experience such as form filing, compliance monitoring or records management. Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, work management and analytical skills. Must possess ability to complete multiple tasks within set deadlines. Must be highly motivated and results oriented. Must have the ability to initiate and take independent action. Highly skilled in dealing with ambiguity. Ability to build relationships across departments. Demonstrated ability to work with a team. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
