Product Handler

POSITION SUMMARY

GENERAL SUMMARY

Product Handler stages boxes of shelf tags and store signage by store and location and gets them ready for shipment. This position is also responsible for constructing boxes as needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Ensures the correct product is placed in the correctly labeled box.
• Performs sorting functions with accuracy and speed as needed.
• Verifies the box is the proper size and fits the correct POP tags.
• Constructs various sized boxes.
• Places cartons on skids for safe and secure travel during delivery.
• Communicates with other boxers and sorters to ensure the job is on track and to check on the store status.
• Communicates with the shift supervisor to provide feedback, updates, and to ask questions about quality and the quantity of the job.
• Ensures the quality of the signs is to the required customer level.
• Complies with safety standards and regulations required by OSHA/MiOSHA.
• Performs other duties as requested.

LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE REQUIRED

• None

EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING REQUIRED OR PREFERRED

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous printing experience, preferred
• Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) training for forklift and skid jack use
