At Grandview Medical Center this Registered Nurse will deliver professional nursing care via a flexible schedule (4, 6, 8, 10, and12 hour options) to patients in a variety of settings including but not limited our Medical-Surgical Units, Intensive Care Units, Stepdown Unit, and Emergency Department; Float and provide assistance in diverse clinical areas as needs arise.

• Provide support to bedside nurses
• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, transfers and procedures
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and perform a variety of tasks and skills
• Assist in obtaining IV access
• Administer medications within the scope of practice of a registered nurse
• Promotes patients' independence by helping establish patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills
• Related effectively with other shifts for continuity of patient care
• Associates degree in nursing required; Bachelors degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in nursing, clinical management, or other related area; prefer experience across at least 2 different nursing departments
