This is a working Lead position that provides on-the-job training to all newly-hired transporters and directly oversees the utilization of the Tele-tracking Transport Tracking System to maintain department operation and exceptional customer service. Assists Radiology Department by performing clerical and patient transport duties. Duties include but are not limited to: transports patients to and from their beds and other areas like therapy, surgery or radiology. Other responsibilities may include retrieving medical records, lab results, supplies and medications. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision reports to a supervisor/manager. High School Diploma or GED required. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through either American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.

Under certain conditions, may be exposed to blood and/or body fluids or potentially infective materials. Requires constant hearing, speaking, vision and repetitive hand movement. Requires attention to detail despite frequent interruptions.
