• Plans, directs, and evaluates the overall nursing care and functions in Rehab Services.
• Coordinates, organizes, and assigns work.
• Assesses, monitors, and educates on patient care.
• Responsible for compliance with overall nursing practice standards.
• Uses established principles of delegation and supervision to direct the activities of all licensed and non-licensed staff in the delivery of patient care during their assigned shift.
• Uses independent judgment to ensure optimal patient care and appropriate use of available resources.
• Requires constant hearing, speaking, vision and repetitive hand movement.
• Requires attention to detail despite frequent interruptions.
• Requires an associate's degree and an active, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) through either AHA or American Red Cross required.
• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the OB/GYN field is highly preferred
