Grandma’s House of Hope (GHH) empowers the invisible populations of Orange County who desire to turn their lives around. With over 10 welcoming homes that specialize in emergency, transitional, and bridge housing for adults, GHH helps participants meet their financial, mental, and physical health goals, ultimately leading to stable permanent housing.

About The Role

The Support Specialist is responsible for supporting participants in our Emergency Housing Program with daily activities while fostering a safe and structured environment.

Participant daily activities typically includes but is not limited to the attainment and maintenance of sobriety, sustainable income, physical and mental health stability and successful transition to transitional or permanent housing.

Schedule

• Monday - Thursday 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
• Saturday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

About You

• Empathetic with a strong desire to help others.
• Experience supporting individuals affected by homelessness, substance use disorders, chronic health and mental health challenges, or other traumatic experiences such as domestic violence and human trafficking.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport quickly with others
• Intermediate computer skills
