Summary of Functions

The Appliance Technician is responsible for maintenance/service of household items.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Willing to work an on-call rotation schedule for emergency services.

· Detail-oriented with strong communication skills

· Able to collaborate with clients and our Service Team to successfully maintain and repair residential and commercial appliances

· Knowledgeable in refrigeration and appliance service and repair, as well as dryer vent cleanings

· Must be able to work independently with little direction while maintaining excellent customer service and communication

· Coachable with the ability to learn and exceed minimum expectations

· Positive attitude with a client service leadership attitude

· Open to cross-training opportunities within departments

· Proficient with data entry and inventory software systems

Education and Experience

· Minimum of 3 years experiences in refrigeration and appliance service repair

Physical Requirements

· Must be able to lift up to 75pounds

· Capable of squatting, crawling, kneeling, climbing and working in the outside Southwest Florida claim conditions
