Cashier Job Description

• Ringing out all sales correctly and in a timely fashion.

• Checking IDs and following company policy to ensure nothing is sold to anyone under 21.

• Counting and balancing the register drawer at the beginning and end of your shift.

• Keeping the front end stocked (including all product behind the counter, singles/soda coolers, bags, cleaning supplies, etc.)

• Vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning of the register counter, store entryway, and other areas as required.

• Assisting on the sales floor as needed with cleaning, stocking, putting away deliveries, putting up price tags and other signage, maintaining displays and other tasks as assigned.

• Conducting in-store tastings as directed by a manager.

• Assisting customers in finding what they need.

• Answering the phone within 3 rings.

• Taking all required information regarding special orders.

• Always providing customers with exceptional service and a positive, helpful attitude.

Stock/Sales Associate Job Description

• Putting away deliveries according to store and company policies and procedures.

• Keeping shelves and the coolers stocked at all times.

• Maintaining and rebuilding displays within the store.

• Pulling goods to transfer to other stores in accordance with store procedures.

• Checking in, sorting, and storing returnable cans and bottles.

• Maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying trash, emptying recyclables.

• Maintaining all overstock inventory (in displays, in the backroom, in the cooler, etc.) in an organized fashion.
