Grand View’s marketing department is looking for a creative and technically proficient graphic designer to collaborate with GV athletics and the marketing department on design and social media projects. To be successful, candidates must have strong design skills both in print and digital media, be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop innovative, creative and on-brand print and digital/social media designs for GV athletics

• Logos and other design elements as needed

• Ensure University-wide adherence to Grand View brand and logo standards

• Work with GV Creative Director on design development

• Work with GV Manager of Social Media to assist/consult with athletic teams in need of social media design help.

• Other design and marketing duties as assigned

Job Qualifications and Required Skills and Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design required

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

• Self-starter, motivated

• Excellent interpersonal communication and listening skills

• Ability to work independently and in groups

• Creative, ability to develop new ideas and initiatives

• Stellar graphic design skills in Adobe Creative Suite
