Responsibilities

Grand View is looking for a Radiologic Tech to join our Urgent Care Centers. The Radiologic Technologist performs imaging utilizing the appropriate equipment for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment planning with regards to patient care. Essential Functions:

• Reviews the daily patient schedule in order to maximize efficiency and minimize patient waiting time.
• Ensure proper identification and documentation of radiographic images
• Transfers patient safely to exam table and provides for patient safety by providing appropriate monitoring/ visualization during exam.
• Positions patient under x-ray machine, adjusts immobilization devices, and affixes lead shields to protect unaffected areas.
• Follow established protocols for cleaning, preparing, and operating radiological equipment.

Schedule:  One day a week and every third weekend.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:Vocational diploma from an AMA approved radiologic technology program required Associate's Degree from an AMA approved radiologic technology program And Over 1 year to 3 years experience as an Imaging Services Technologist preferred Licenses and Certifications:Radiological Technologist – Certified, Upon hire, required
