Grand View Health is Hiring a Respiratory Care Practitioner Near Sellersville, PA

Schedule: Full Time, Days - 3 12-hour shifts, 7am-7:30pm

Responsibilities

Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time RT!
The Respiratory Care Practitioner provides approved Respiratory Care services to Grand View Health inpatients and outpatients. The Respiratory Care Practitioner also has additional responsibilities in Pulmonary Rehab. The Respiratory Care Practitioner provides diagnostic, rehabilitation, therapeutic, emergency and life support services for patients experiencing respiratory compromise.
Essential Functions:
  • Performs safely and accurately all competencies itemized as Respiratory Care services for neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
  • Adheres to hospital infection control guidelines, safely and accurately processing Respiratory Care equipment for proper cleanings and/or sterilizing.
  • Maintains patient Respiratory Care charting according to medical record guidelines to ensure complete record of care delivered.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Associate's degree from an accredited respiratory therapy program. See regs for qualifications for individuals who were licensed prior to 2002.
  • Over 1 to 3 years in a hospital setting preferred.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), upon hire, required.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), upon hire, required.
  • Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine (or PA State Board of Osteopathic Medicine) as a Respiratory Therapist, upon hire, required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire required.
