Grand View Health is Hiring a Nursing Supervisor, RN Near Sellersville, PA
Schedule: Per Diem, Nights, Non-Committed - Varying hours
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Makes independent nursing and administrative judgments relative to patient care and plant management in order to provide continuity in the delivery of hospital services.
- Responds to and assesses Code 9, trauma and disaster situations in order to provide support and direction while insuring that standards of care are met for neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
- Communicates and collaborates with nursing personnel, hospital management, medical staff, patients and families in order to facilitate patient care and interpret policies and procedures.
- Promotes communication and delegation among healthcare members in order to encourage collaborative delivery of patient care.
- Knows and applies the principles of staffing patterns and scheduling in order to appropriately assign staff.
- Participates in hospital and unit quality-management projects in order to assist with development and monitoring of standards and unit activities.
- Collaborates with appropriate hospital departments in order to ensure safe effective functioning of all equipment.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:- Associate's degree in Nursing and over 3 to 5 years of nursing experience required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire required.
- Registered Nurse in PA – licensed, upon hire, required.
