Responsibilities

• Orders DME and medical supplies. Negotiates pricing with manufacturers and suppliers.
• Responsible for checking in products received to ensure purchase order is accurate to products received.
• Responsible for receiving products and warehousing the products in the designated area of the warehouse.
• Responsible for reviewing invoices for accuracy, attaching the necessary paperwork, such as the purchase order and packing lists and sending to accounting for payment process.
• Updates inventory as appropriate and communicates changes to accounting to make the necessary changes in their system.
• Works closely with the Revenue Qualifications Coordinator in order to correct inventory issues in order to promote and maintain efficient order confirmation process. A twenty-four-hour turnaround is required.
• Serves as a back-up to the Warehouse Supervisor when absent and delivers products to retail store. Prepares and ships products and assists patients arriving at the warehouse to pick up oxygen tanks.
