Job Information:

• Grand Traverse Pavilions is seeking a full-time Admissions Coordinator.
• Hourly wage $22.86.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Tasks:

• Responsible for admissions placement and assists in maintaining full occupancy for the Grand Traverse Pavilions.
• Participate in admission meetings with staff providing information regarding potential admissions.
• Maintains records of daily census and produces a report on daily, monthly, and annual basis.
• Maintains Organizational inquiry and waiting list to ensure maximum census. Maintain prospect database to include the use of computerized software program to manage inquiries.
• Act as liaison between referral sources, hospitals, and physicians for the coordination of physicians for residents.
• Acts as liaison between admitting physicians and new admits.
• May personally escort new constituents upon entry into a program area to assure a smooth transition or seamless entry.
• Coordinates all aspects of admission, including but not limited to referral, coordination with Nursing Services, collections of appropriate paperwork, processing of all paperwork for admission, and welcoming and orientation of new admission.·
