ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Including the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Keeping all children safe by being responsible and diligent.
• Opening, closing, and inspecting/maintaining climbing wall, mining rough, and bungee trampoline daily.
• Operating a 24-foot climbing wall, mining rough, and bungee trampoline daily, with functions performed including but not limited to: Operating bungee trampoline, belaying guests on climbing wall, providing instruction to climbing guests, ensuring proper use and fitment of climbing and bungee equipment for guests, and maintaining the mining rough through frequent cleaning and refilling.
• Noting child behavior and actions, be able to convey those back to a supervisor and/ or parent.
• Maintaining a clean base at the Summer Camp facility.
• Taking reservations and handling money.
• Being expected to perform duties in multiple capacities within the department, potentially including Activities, Youth Programs, and Hiking.

RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY

• Protecting the safety of self, co-workers, and resort guests.
• Protecting the safety of children attending Summer Camp.
• Reporting any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay.
• Reporting safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor.
• Following all company and department safety policies and procedures.
• Operating equipment safely so that it will not lead to injury to yourself or others.
• Driving in accordance with the law and resort policies.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

 This job has no supervisory responsibilities with staff.
