Grand Springs is Hiring a Yard Jockey Near Alton, VA
Grand Springs has 48' and 53' trailers that are loaded on site. This person will learn how the trailers are assigned to the different docks/departments to be loaded/unloaded. There are 11 dock doors for trailers to be moved in and out. This person needs to be responsible and very reliable. The yard man works in all weather conditions and will be in constant radio communication with team leaders, management, and mechanic. Other responsibilities include, but not limited to, driving a forklift to load recycle trailers, unloading and reloading pallet trailer, and helping on the recycle docks. Experience in driving a truck or backing trailers is required! Forklift experience is preferred. This is a 2nd shift position with the hours of 2:30pm - 11pm (with overtime as needed).
