This position is eligible for a $7,500 sign-on bonus!

SALARY INFORMATION:

• $25.58 - $41.29 Dependent on Experience
• Additional $2.00 - $4.00 an hour differential for additional weekend and night shifts
• $7,500 Bonus (If Eligible)

SHIFT INFORMATION:

• Day/Night shift, 4/10s

BASIC FUNCTION:Produces diagnostic radiological examinations to aid in the diagnosis of disease.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Prevents patient from being exposed to unnecessary radiation.
• Performs portable X-ray examinations.
• Develops exposed X-ray film.
• Performs administrative duties, such as scheduling appointments, patient instructions, film-filing, and maintenance of records.
• Performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols.
• Functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.
• Participates actively in Performance Improvement, Radiation Safety, Patient Satisfaction, Radiological Patient and Physician Education, Continuous Quality Improvement, and Employee Satisfaction Committees.
• Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registration in Radiography required.
• Associate Degree of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology and/or Bachelor’s Degree in radiologic sciences from an AMA approved school preferred.
• Must have current BLS card within 3 months of initial employment and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.
• Prefer one year of professional radiology experience in a hospital patient care setting.
• Certification in additional modalities preferred.
