Grand River Health is Hiring a Speech Language Pathologist Near Rifle, CO
BASIC FUNCTION: Diagnoses and treats speech, language and swallowing disorders and engages in scientific study of human communication. Treats disorders such as stuttering, delayed language development, speech, voice and articulation problems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluates speech and language skills as related to educations, medical, social and psychological factors.
- Plans, directs and conducts rehabilitative treatment programs to restore communicative efficiency of individuals with communication problems of organic or nonorganic etiology.
- Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, cognitive, communication, voice, swallowing, fluency, and other related disorders.
- Maintains records, monitors progress, and counsels patients and their family members.
- Communicates regularly within the department, facility, and outside affiliations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree and ASHA certification preferred.
- Active Colorado license as a Speech Language Pathologist required.
- Must have current BLS certification upon initial employment and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.
- Prefer 2 years of working experience.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean MVR record required.
SALARY INFORMATION:
- $41.00 - $46.50 Dependent on Experience
- 10% differential in addition to base rate salary
- Additional $2.00 - $4.00 an hour for additional weekend and night shifts
APPLICATION WINDOW: Minimum of three days, and until it is filled
BENEFITS: We offer a wide range of best in class benefits. Compensation also includes a 10% PRN differential and may include shift differentials. In addition, Grand River Hospital District offers benefits including employee assistant programs.
