Do you enjoy making a difference in the lives of seniors on a daily basis? We at Grand Regency are looking for an energetic person to join our team as our laundry aide.

Responsibilities:

1. Duties

a. Collect soiled linens from storage closets and resident rooms. Sort soiled laundry before placing into washing machine.

b. Strip and remake residents' beds.

c. Wash, dry and fold all facility linens and towels and residents' personal items and clothing. d. Properly use all soaps, chemicals, and equipment.

e. Clean laundry equipment, vent screens, and drain traps and lint filters on a regular basis. f. Ensure a supply of clean linen and towels is available for all shifts.

g. Keep the laundry room, Housekeeping Office and Storage areas clean and organized. h. Distribute residents personal items correctly by markings (name, initial, tags, etc.)

i. Deliver residents personal items to their room when clean

j. Use personal protective equipment (gloves, gowns, masks, etc.) and proper universal precautions to prevent the spread of infectious disease and bodily fluids.

k. Assist Housekeeping Supervisor and other personnel in finding lost or misplaced items as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
