FT - 1st Shift.
No weekends or holidays required.
Duties and Key Responsibilities
Works under the supervision of the Director of Financial Services/Controller using financial, statistical, and clinical data to provide leadership with analysis and tools needed to support Grand Lake Health System’s decision-making and financial planning needs.
The Business Analyst can make sense of the ever-increasing amount of data collected in the healthcare industry.
The Business Analyst assists in maintaining and managing productivity, decision support, cost accounting, and software solutions.
Performs complex data analysis to identify trends, risks, issues, and opportunities.
Timely productivity reporting.
Responsible for Physician and Revenue analysis.
Uses industry and financial knowledge to assist department managers and directors in the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets and analysis of current and future operations.
Requirements
Understanding of advanced accounting topics and methodologies including cost accounting, benchmarking, productivity, and modeling.
Expert in Microsoft Excel.
Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office and multi-dimensional databases.
Education/Certifications
A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
CPA Preferred.
Experience
Minimum 2 years in advanced accounting, auditing or financial analyst roles.
Experience with data analytics and database management software.
