Job Summary

The Revenue Cycle Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the financial success of Grand Island Clinic. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare billing and collections, as well as experience with creating and manipulating excel spreadsheets and analyzing the content within. In addition, the candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Review and processing of specific visit types and sending appropriate correspondence to patients regarding those visits.
  • Review, processing, and collection of patient balances.
  • Creating and maintaining patient payment plans.
  • Assist in the review and development of revenue cycle policies and procedures.
  • Monitore and analyze revenue cycle metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide support and training to the Insurance and Patient account team on industry best practices, new policies, and procedures.
  • Responsible for collaborating with the entire revenue cycle team to create a written procedure manual for each position therein.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Abilily to demostrate knowlege in Revenue Cycle processes/procedures.
  • Prior Revenue Cycle experience in a healthcare setting prefered.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.
  • Basic computer skills.
