The Revenue Manager is responsible for implementing revenue management system and standards and practices to control rooms inventories and rates. This person participates in strategic hotel marketing plans by monitoring future rooms occupancy and revenues. Provide guidance and support sales and marketing initiatives that are targeted to meet the needs of the hotel. Produce accurate revenue forecasts that help set hotel goals and outgrow the competition. Additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, monitoring and assessing all lost business reports and monitor and implement strategies for Internet distribution channels. This person would report directly to the Director of Commercial Strategy.

Qualifications

  • Two years as an Assistant Manager or Analyst in the hotel industry revenue management discipline preferred
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be proficient in general computer knowledge, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Preferred previous experience with forecasting and revenue management.
  • Must have extensive experience with customer service.
  • Provide effective and timely communication on all reservation's changes for the team and throughout the hotel
  • Follow up with other departments on guests requests and concerns regarding their stay with us
  • Train, elevate and motivate the team effectively to create a positive and productive work environment
  • Knowledge of Hyatt's reservation and revenue systems and procedures preferred
  • Experience with SMS preferred
