Grand Foundation is Hiring an Events Coordinator Near Fraser, CO

Title of Position: Event Coordinator

Pay Range: $18-$22 Per Hour

General Purpose:
The Grand Foundation’s Event Coordinator works closely with the Development Manager to facilitate events and auctions. Assist the Development Manager for events for the Grand
Foundation.

Organization Structure:
Reports to: Development Manager
Supervision: Event Volunteers

Scope of Position:
$500,000: Event, Corporate & Auction Revenue

Event Coordination

1. Assist Development Manager with Grand Gala, Grand Classic, and Brew Fest
2. Sends silent auction donor solicitations
3. Collects auction item
4. Help identify potential new auction donors
5. Log auction items and upload into the auction software
6. Creates bid sheets and display boards
7. Assists with event advertising, collateral materials, production, and distribution
8. Assists with event volunteers
9. Composes committee agendas
10. Sends donor thank you notes
11. Maintains event storage room
12. Other duties as assigned

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Assists Development Manager with Pass Program
2. Assists with updates and proofing
3. Attends meetings and prepare minutes
4. Communicates with other departments and helps coordinate efforts, as needed

5. Maintains friendly and helpful attitude towards donor, guests and, coworkers

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Two years of office experience in an administrative role required
2. Excellent skills with computer and software programs such as Excel, Word, and

Outlook. Knowledge with Donor Perfect is a bonus
3. Must have excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills
4. Additional experience with Power Point, Publisher, Illustrator, and Canva, is a plus
5. Experience working under strict deadlines.
6. High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

1. Work is primarily performed in a typical office setting with occasional attendance at outside events and offsite meetings

2. Prolonged periods of using a computer or other office equipment
3. Occasional lifting and carrying of approximately 25 lbs
4. Driving throughout the Grand County area required on occasion
