Up to 10 hours / week April - May

Up to 25 hours / week June 3-30

• Hire summer helping hands staff to assist with student training, volunteer coordination, and volunteer coaching
• Coordinate and lead student (grades 8-11) volunteer sign up and training sessions
• Identify key organizations, facilities, and locations seeking volunteer support. Establish volunteer task descriptions and schedules with those entities to be used during the sign up process.
• Work as a liaison between volunteer organizations and volunteers to ensure strong communication and cooperation exists
• Organize staff schedules and communicate regularly with staff to ensure quality work is being executed at volunteer sites
• arrange for student transportation for special volunteer events
• Create volunteer hour tracking and feedback mechanisms
• Order and organize materials and supplies as needed
• Create year end reports for the school district, buildings and main volunteer entities
