Trade up your current role for this great manufacturing opportunity! Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading supplier in steel fabrication industry located in Grand Forks ND. We are seeking candidates for Machine Operator positions on 1st and 2nd shifts. 1st shift hours are 6:30am-5:00pm; 2nd shift hours are 3:00pm-1:30am. Both shifts will work Monday through Thursday, with mandatory overtime on Fridays as needed. Compensation for these temp-to-hire opportunities are $16.00-$19.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Machine Operator Main Responsibilities:

• Follow and understand standard work, training guides, procedures, and acceptance criteria to meet customer requirements
• Able to use various hand tools
• Follow and understand build boards and Kanban system requirements
• Report inconsistencies and/or defects in material, product or equipment
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you collaborate with customers, clients, co-workers, and management

Machine Operator Key Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior work experience in related field, preferred
• Basic computer knowledge (Windows, email, internet, ect)?
• Written and verbal communication, math, reading, and spelling skills or an acceptable combination of education and experience
• Must have the ability to lift 70 pounds from floor to waist, carry 50 pounds, and push and/or pull up to 100 pounds #HiringinGrandForks
