What a Machine Operator will do:

• Maintain and adjust machines that stock, fill, wrap, seal, and label bags with finished product
• Ensure that product and bagging requirements are met safely, efficiently, and with minimal waste
• Inspect bagging line processes and materials and respond promptly to any machine malfunctions
• Monitor and ensure metal detectors are tested and fully functional
• Control packaging weights for main line or specialty products
• Ensure there is no injury to self or others by following safe work practices (including Standard Operating Procedures) and policies
• Ensure self-compliance with company policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement

What you need to be a Machine Operator:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 3 years of related experience and/or training
• Must be able to enter data into a computer #SpringOpenHouse
