About the Position:

The Invasive Species Technician performs a variety of technical and administrative duties related to providing services to abate noxious weeds or undesirable plants through the use of specialized chemicals. This position assists in educating the public about weeds and control options. Additionally, this position will collect and maintain data on noxious weed infestations. The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate would be someone who has some knowledge of noxious weed species, mixing and applying herbicides, and operating herbicide equipment. This person should be well organized, have the ability to communicate effectively, and should have adequate computer skills to maintain records.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma;

and One (1) year experience directly related to the above duties;

or An equivalent combination of education and experience

Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening

Pay & Hours:

Pay Range: Starting at $21.69/Hourly (Dependent on qualifications and experience.) This is a seasonal, part-time position. Days and times may vary depending on weather and other circumstances.
