Canister Line Warehouse Operator

• Work weeks consist of 12-hour shifts from 5 pm - 5 am 4 days a week with occasional overtime as needed. NO WEEKENDS!

Regular Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Forklift operation in a warehouse setting pulling finished pallets of products off the line.
• Using a forklift to take packaging supplies to various areas in the facility.
• Loading pallets into an auto-palletizer.
• Loading van trailers with finished goods.
• Using a yard truck to move and back up van trailers.
• Using a scan gun and computer inventory management system to track finished goods and raw materials throughout the process.
• Fill in on canister lines as needed.
• Set-up, operate and troubleshoot the Canister Line operation based on customer specifications.
• Enter lot code information into computer system and verify accuracy.
• Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standards.
• Communicate with supervisor and scheduler on production schedules, quality issues and supply problems.
• Clean, oil, and make minor adjustments or repairs to machinery and equipment.
• Maintain a clean work environment.

Essential Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to analyze information, machine and process to troubleshoot mechanical problems.
• Basic knowledge of repairing and maintaining mechanical and electronic equipment
• Ability to communication and participate in team-based decision making processes.
• Ability to coordinate and organize production runs.

Physical Demands

• Ability to walk and stand for an extended period of time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
