Joining our sanitation team could be just the position for you!

Responsibilities and regular duties include:

• Cleaning the following areas: Overheads, walls, ledges, roof, window sills, hoses, heaters, corners and hard to reach areas of the floor, tables, storage cabinets, exterior of all equipment, stairs, lights, rail shed, bulk truck loading area and the grounds around the plant.
• Keeping all tools, air hoses, ladders and brooms hung up or properly stored when not being used.
• Ensuring that there is good, clean brooms on floors.
• Report any maintenance issues to appropriate personnel by completing a work order for the repair.
• Report any problems found to the Sanitation Supervisor or the Quality Manager. (Bug activity, Sanitation problems, leaky roofs etc.)
• Safely operate a fork lift and/or Tool cat.
• Safely handle all chemicals and pesticides.
• Safely apply chemicals and pesticides per label instructions (if licensed).

Work week consist of 8 hour days Monday - Friday w/ occasional overtime. Must have availability on some weekends and Holidays for facility fogging and/or heat treatments.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• General computer knowledge.
• Previous sanitation experience preferred but not required.
• RT and CORE 7A/7D certifications/licenses preferred but not required.
• Verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Demands:

• Activities include walking, kneeling, lifting, climbing ladders and stairs, bending, stacking, twisting, pulling, pushing, inserting,
  sitting, squatting, standing, accumulating, and collating motions.
• Being able to handle 50lbs. of material with assistance occasionally.
• Climbing multiple flights of stairs and ladders up to 125 feet in height.
• Work in a variety of temperatures and weather conditions.
• Exposure to many moving parts.
• Exposure to grain dust.
• Exposure to high noise levels
