The Grafton Job Corps Center is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. We are a federally funded program and we assist students ages 16-24 with receiving the education and the career skills and credentials they need to become successful members of the workforce.
This position focuses on dealing with building maintenance issues and may also have days where driving students in our vans is a focus as well. CDL is not required for this position. The ideal candidate would have at least 1 year of maintenance experience.
Pay starts at $23.18 per hour
Schedule is Tuesday-Friday 10am-7pm

Position Summary
Assists in providing preventative and ongoing maintenance of Center facility, grounds and systems.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Advanced degrees preferred. Minimum one year experience in building maintenance required. Technical certificate preferred. Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, boilers and other building systems preferred. Must possess a valid in-State Driver’s License and meet Company insurability requirements. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and / or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
