The District Manager provides leadership and creates results for a determined number of retail stores in a geographic area. Through the management of the store managers, provides leadership to the individual stores, develops a superior management team and store team creating the highest levels of performance and results in guest services, quality, sales, and profitability.

KEY PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:

• Building and developing a retail team that is capable of meeting and exceeding key performance targets.
• Ensuring our retail locations are managed effectively with the goal of providing the highest level of service and quality that exceeds our guest expectations.
• Providing leadership and guidance for Store Managers to continually improve financial outcomes.
• Building loyalty throughout the organization by communicating the company’s operating plans, strategies, and results in a positive, solution-oriented manner.
• Leading and participating in various projects that enhance the retail business and creates a great guest experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• EXPERIENCE: Retail and/or food service background. 7-10 years’ experience in retail environment, including a minimum of 3 plus years management experience for multiple units. 
• MATH & LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to work with and analyze sales numbers, ratios, measurements, percentages, etc. Must have the ability to read and comprehend instructions in the use of equipment, methods, processes, and procedures; write professional reports and memos; speak before a group with poise.
• EDUCATION: Minimum of high school diploma. Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred or combination of education and 5-7 years of supervisory experience.
• PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The job may require you to be able to lift up to 40 lbs, have the flexibility and strength to load supplies and equipment (around the store and in/out of vehicles), and be able to stand on feet for prolonged periods of 8 hours.
