SUMMARY
Practices as a Physical Therapist within the scope of care defined in the Georgia Physical Therapy Act. Plans, implements and evaluates PT intervention to assign in and outpatients upon consultation with a physician in order to promote maximal functional efficiency of the patient. Responsible for treatment of all clients referred to the Physical Therapy Department at Grady regardless of age, neonates through geriatrics.

Grady's Rehabilitation Therapy staff strive to help you improve your ability to function and care for yourself in the most effective way. Patients are referred for service after a stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic injury, surgery, cancer, loss of limb, neurological or medically complex condition.
Rehab services include occupational and physical therapy, and speech and language services.
Physical Therapy
Services are provided by licensed physical therapists and physical therapist assistants. These specialists design individualized treatment programs to reduce the effects of pain or weakness on functional abilities. Hydrotherapeutic wound care also is available.
