Responsibilities

1. Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning.*
2. Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials (including keeping them on pace in Edgenuity courses).
3. Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction.
4. Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and reinforcing expectations.
5. Assign and grade all work. Provide students timely and detailed feedback on work.
6. Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development. Communicate progress report information to parents.
7. Attend required teacher and staff meetings. Provide input and feedback as appropriate. Align self to the Lumos way and enhance the culture being cultivated.
8. Substitute for absent staff members, as necessary.
9. Perform other related duties as assigned.
