Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team in a healthcare setting. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in supporting the dietary department and ensuring the well-being of our patients through proper nutrition.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and serving under the supervision of the dietary manager or cook.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, dishes, and work areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Help with meal set-up, including tray assembly and delivery to patients.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients by addressing their dietary needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure all meals are prepared according to specific dietary requirements.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
