Childcare Staff at GCPC are responsible for helping to ensure children ages 0-5 years of age are cared for in a safe, nurturing environment where parents/guardians can be confident that their child(ren) will receive the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide Childcare every Sunday Morning (9:00 am-12:30 pm)
• Provide Childcare for special events or meetings as scheduled.
• Change Diapers.
• Organize and clean the nursery/play spaces throughout each shift.
• Play and supervise children
• Follow safety procedures including checking children in and out.
• Communicate with parents/guardians of young children.

Qualifications

• Loving nature toward small children and calm under pressure
• Current in CPR for infants and children
• Successfully pass a complete background investigation
• Complete training for Child Protection through GCPC
• Clear communication skills
• Must be able to lift a child up to 40 lbs.

Supervision

Direct supervision by the Director of Formation for Children and their Families.

Accountable to the Pastor/Head of Staff

Pay: $18.00 per hour
