Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated mental health/ nursing aide to join our team. As a mental health/ nursing aide, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to individuals with mental health conditionsand dementia. Your kindness and skills will contribute to the overall well-being of our residents. This is an assisted living in a residential setting.

Responsibilities

- Implement individualized care plans

- Administer medications and monitor their effectiveness

- Monitor vital signs and observe any changes in patients' behavior or condition

- Provide crisis management and intervention as needed

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies

Experience:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:

- Previous experience working with individuals with mental health conditions, particularly adults

- Knowledge of crisis management techniques and interventions

- Proficiency in behavior management strategies

- Familiarity with electronic medical records management

- Experience in providing care for individuals with dementia, mental health disorders, and those with only physical needs

Requirements
