Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to join our healthcare organization. As the Medical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and providing medical leadership to our team of healthcare professionals. Your role will involve ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, medical treatment, implementing medical management strategies, and maintaining compliance with medical standards.

Duties:

- Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards

- Provide medical leadership and guidance to our healthcare team

- Develop and implement medical policies, protocols, and procedures

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans

- Oversee the management of acute care services and ensure appropriate utilization of resources

- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with advancements in medical practices and technologies

- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives

- Collaborate with managed care organizations to ensure effective utilization management

- Provide clinical oversight and guidance in critical care situations

Skills:

- In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology

- Strong understanding of nursing home operations and healthcare delivery systems

- Proficient in medical management principles and practices

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

- Ability to make critical decisions under pressure

- Demonstrated commitment to patient care excellence

Requirements:

- Medical degree from an accredited institution

- Board certification in a relevant specialty

- Valid medical license in the state of practice

- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, preferably in a leadership role
