• Hardware Sales Associate

Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal skills, an upbeat personality, and a strong work ethic.

• Hardware store knowledge preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours and multitask. Evenings, Weekends and some Holidays required.
• Greet, interact and monitor customers to assist the store in loss prevention.
• Ability to communicate with customers and associates in person and via telephone.
• Maintain the outlook of the store through dusting, cleaning and restocking merchandise on the shelves. Follow company merchandise processes; unpack, stock, restock, and rotate merchandise on shelves.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized retail store.
• Ability to work in a team and independently with minimum supervision.
• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks given.
• Willingness to learn about new items and procedures quickly. Flexible and willing to cross-train and work in other areas of the store, as needed.
• Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions
• Capable of regularly lifting 50 lbs. and possibly more on occasion with assistance with frequent kneeling, bending and stooping. Ability to safely climb up and down a ladder.
• Forklift experience preferred.
