About The Role

Responsibilities:

• Support hardware development and manufacturing for the next generation of edge device systems
• Build prototypes from electronics schematics
• Build cables and harnesses
• Troubleshoot and reworks RMA & prototype units from system to component level
• Support Engineering and production validation efforts
• Support Manufacturing and field installation
• Support building Engineering & Manufacturing test fixtures and test procedures 
• Support environment and compliance tests
• Maintain Engineering documentation system: including AVL, BOM, test procedures, and material specifications

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in hardware development, especially in embedded systems
• Experience in electro-mechanical development
• Experience with analog and digital circuit design
• Experience with CAD software such as Orcad, Altium, and Allegro for the schematic design and PCB layout
• Experience with DC and AC power supplies systems
• Experience with data communication protocols such as MIPI, SPI, I2C, and SPI
• Knowledge of electronics equipment, including DVM, oscilloscope, and bench power supply
• Experience with soldering and rework of fine pitch surface mount and throughout components
• Knowledge of technical writing, including test procedures and reports. 

Nice to have:

• Familiar with wire and wireless communication like Ethernet, Bluetooth, WIFI
• Basic knowledge of BOM and materials management tools
• Experience working with different internal and external customers, including contract manufacturers 
• Basic knowledge of EMI, Safety, and environment tests
• Experience with image sensors 

Education & Certifications:

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering
