Overview
Seeking a Secruity Analyst to join our Team! The Security Analyst’s role is to ensure the secure operation of the computer networks. This includes assisting in planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all security related items.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for generating reports for IT personnel to determine the efficiency of current security policies.
- Create training programs and modules to help educate users on standard security protocols.
- Keep the company’s security systems up to date.
- Create documentation and planning for all security-related information, including IR and DR plans.
- Monitor security access.
- Conduct security assessments
- Perform internal and external security audits
- Analyzing any security breaches and identifying the root cause
- Defining, planning, implementing, maintaining, and upgrading security measures, policies, and controls.
- Manage patch management systems to confirm all systems are updated
- Work with 3rd party providers to confirm company data is secure.
- Monitors and restricts access to sensitive, confidential, or high-security data.
- Experience with reviewing Azure and Office 365 logs and security modules.
- Defining, planning, implementing, maintaining, and upgrading security measures, policies, and controls.
Qualifications
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of firewalls, antivirus, and MDR/EDR (CrowdStrike is a plus)
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate with end users in a clear and concise manner without using over technical terms or phrases.
ATTENDANCE– Individuals in this position are expected to be available during the normal business hours, and may occasionally be asked to vary their schedule and/or work overtime to meet department requirements
WORKING CONDITIONS – Work will generally be performed using computer equipment in an indoor office environment.
SUPERVISION – Works under the general supervision of the Manager of Security.
