Overview:

GPM Investments is hiring a Benefits Specialist, in Richmond, Va! Join GPM Investments and be part of the action as we support the daily operations of health and welfare programs for the nation's 6th largest convenience store company.

What you will do:

  • Provide essential support to employees.
  • Maintain HRIS system.
  • Ensure legal compliance
  • Pay $21/HR.
Responsibilities:
  • Input employee benefit information into HRIS (KRONOS) system.
  • Assist in vendor reconciliation process.
  • Interpret and process Qualified Medical Support Orders.
  • Handle COBRA notifications when necessary.
  • Collaborate with third-party administrators on complex issues.
  • Update weekly status changes and process payroll adjustments.
  • Communicate and educate associates about benefit plans effectively.
  • Perform specialized tasks supporting daily operations and projects in benefits and HR departments.
  • All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Help implement, maintain, and communicate health and welfare programs effectively.
  • Need at least 2 years of experience with benefits.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills required.
  • Proficient in computer use, including generating and understanding ad hoc reports.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Familiar with common practices and procedures in the field.
  • Handle confidential information with care.
  • Work well with diverse groups of people.
