The Radisson Hotel of Freehold is seeking candidates to join our team in the role of weekend Restaurant Hostess. The Restaurant Hostess will oversee all aspects of the Hotel’s on-site restaurant. We believe food service is more than just placing dishes on a table- it's about educating guests on menu items, daily specials, and favorable food and wine pairings.

Responsibilities:

• Create an environment for employees aligned with the company culture through constant communication and reinforcement.
• Provides services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention.
• Cash handling and inventory management.
• Move throughout facility and kitchen areas to visually monitor and take action to ensure food quality and service standards are met.
• Must be able to display ongoing proficiency in the use of all restaurant equipment, as well as be able to handle all business/administrative, management, and both technical and training aspects.
• Accuracy in paperwork

Requirements

• Leading a team to achieve goals and objectives.
• Performance management, supervisory: Demonstrate ability to relate to, communicate with and motivate employees to sustain high performance and quality levels.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Working knowledge of restaurant system.
• Knowledge of bartending.
