A well-established, full-service legal team has been incorporated for over 40 years and is currently seeking a skilled attorney with experience in trust and estate planning and administration. The role will involve handling wills, trusts, estate administration, and elder law matters.
They are looking for a candidate with at least five years of experience in trust and estate planning. This role offers potential for growth as the current leading Trust & Estate Attorney is retiring and passing on their business. In addition to a base salary, you will receive 20% origination. Performance based on production vs profit based.
Responsibilities:
- Draft estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advanced directives for healthcare
- Advise clients regarding retirement plans, charitable giving, and tax planning
- Conduct effective consultations with potential clients
- Interface with clients providing excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed with the State Bar of PA
- Minimum of five years of estate planning experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and technical aptitude for learning other software programs such as practice management software
- Familiarity with document drafting software
- Ability to show empathy to clients and puts them at ease
- Attention to detail
