Residential Construction Project Manager - Annual Expected Earnings: $80-100,000

Are you a C-Bus construction professional with at least 5 years of experience who is sick and tired of not being paid his/her worth?

Are you tired of helicopter clients who don’t know enough about what you do yet always seem to have criticism or a change order for you?

Are you sick and tired of making your incompetent boss rich who doesn’t do his job to manage the client, manage the designers and manage the vendors riding you like Seabisuit all the way into his new Ford Raptor?

  • All problems in build stem from poor design. We hold designers accountable to reality.
  • We have spec’d our entire design and build process into a seamless SOP of what to do, why to do it, by when, who to notify with a checklist to protect quality.
  • Our trades are on performance compensation so you will have the leverage to compel quality via their pay ensuring you don’t have to do their jobs.

What Will The Ideal Candidate Have To Do?

  • Customer Engagement – Through JobTread schedule, job logs and photos.
  • Sub-Contractor Management – scheduling subcontractors per job schedule & quality of work
  • Scope Management – responsible for identifying any deviations from scope before work begins.
  • Material takeoffs – ensure the PD knows what to order in a timely manner.
  • Jobsite Prep – manages prep and protect the jobsite prior to beginning job
  • Jobsite Clean-up – manage process to keep jobsite safe, clean and organized.
  • Building code - Adhere to building codes and at a minimum know where to look, schedule and work with inspections.
  • Skillset –Knowledge of and some hands on skills for framing decks, porches, additions, roofs, hardscapes, outdoor kitchens, landscaping, etc
  • Manage - All trade work: demo, framing, insulation, foundations, flat work, landscape & hardscape, MEPs, drywall, window & door installation, siding & ext trim, roofing & flashing, deck & porch framing, screening, all types of flooring, cabinetry & complex trim or built-ins, painting and punch out.
  • Following Company Processes and Systems – ensure compliance on company processes.

What Will The Ideal Candidate Have To Have?

  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
  • Experience – 5 years in home construction related field, 2 years managing job sites
  • Mechanical Skills – ability to work with a variety of tools and machines.
  • Math Skills - ability to measure materials to be cut and installed.
  • Computer Skills- Able to work with Google Drive and JobTread
  • Detail Oriented – ability to be very precise, measure distances and the size of items and an eye for detail
  • Critical Thinking Skills – ability to problem solve when issues arise in a project and foresee them before they occur
  • Leadership – ability to coach, develop and motivate people as well as hold them accountable.
  • Communication – ability to communicate quickly and effectively with clients

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $63,507.00 - $69,597.00 per year
