Regional Sales Manager

gpac, a 30 year recruitment company, is partnered with a well-established company in the structural steel fabrication industry. Our client is a leader in structural steel fabrication with multiple state locations and is growing into multiple markets. As an AISC certified steel fabricator, they have a strong reputation for providing high-quality products and services.

This is an amazing opportunity for experienced sales professionals in the structural steel or industrial construction industry. If you have a proven track record in sales and established connections within the region, this position offers great potential for growth and advancement.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and increase market share - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers - Identify sales opportunities and target potential clients within the assigned territory - Conduct sales presentations and negotiate contracts to close deals - Collaborate with internal teams, including engineers and project managers, to ensure customer satisfaction and project success

Essential job functions:

- Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives - Continuously develop a deep understanding of the company's products, services, and competitive landscape - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments - Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to management - Travel within the assigned territory to meet with clients and attend industry events

Skills:

- 5 years of sales experience in the structural steel or industrial construction industry - Proven success in selling projects ranging from $4M-$10M - Strong network and established connections within the region - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills - Goal-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary:

this position ranges from $85,000 to $125,000 base salary with commission, commensurate with experience.
