The Civil Engineering Project Manager will lead projects to meet client needs, overseeing both internal teams and external partners. They'll ensure quality, review designs, and manage schedules and budgets. This role involves analyzing data to estimate costs and resources for projects, playing a vital part in bidding and cost strategies, and overseeing projects from start to finish.
This is an entry to mid-level permanent role, only requiring 1-3 years of experience. Salary range is $65-90K.
Responsibilities:
Analyze costs and report for logistics/civil engineering projects.
Collaborate with engineering teams to define project scope.
Prepare cost data for proposals and contracts.
Monitor project costs and provide financial reports.
Advise management on budget deviations.
Analyze cost metrics and risks.
Coordinate with suppliers.
Manage consultants and contractors.
Assist with survey designs and LiDAR.
Review construction drawings.
Provide on-site support for high-risk projects.
Liaise with governing bodies like DOT and Counties.
Required Traits:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
1-3 years of experience in civil engineering, cost estimating, planning, and scheduling.
Understanding of cost accounting.
Knowledge of logistics/civil engineering processes and materials.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Willingness to travel occasionally.
Proficiency in AutoCAD,
Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office Suite.
