Description Job Title: Project Manager Department/Unit: HQ AETC, A5Q Location: Randolph AFB, TX Job Summary: The Project Manager will provide joint planning subject matter expertise to analyze training programs for integration of joint planning and execution. Essential Functions: * Facilitate up to three OPT's or process improvement events simultaneously. Research and develop government furnished information for courseware development.
* Review training courseware for accuracy and content.
* Provide competency-based analysis of assigned training and provide recommendations for integration of joint operations training.
* Provide accurate and timely responses to assigned tasks.
* Provide briefs and reports when required to senior leadership. Attend meeting and/or conferences when assigned by PM TPOC.
* Maintains currency of required ADLS and/or INSCOM trainings
Position Requirements Knowledge Skills and Experience: * Minimum of 8 years of direct acquisition management experience in industry or DoD, preferably having at least 3 years in information management/learning management support services.
* PMP with at least one year experience or two years of experience as a paid Project Manager.
* Experience action officer or planner on regional CCMD joint staff or service component.
* Requires experience as member of operational planning team or group.
* Working knowledge of Joint Planning - Five (JP-5).
* At least two of the following training courses or sister service equivalent:
* Joint Air Operations Planning Course
* Joint Planning Support Element
* Intermediate Service School or Senior NCO Service PME
* Joint Advanced Warfighting School
* Joint Task Force Staff Basic Course
* Contingency Wartime Planning Course
* Minimum DAWIA Level II in Program Management or equivalent desired.
* Agile software experience/certification highly desired.
* Active Secret security clearance
* Possess a valid US passport
Education: * Bachelor's degree with above identified experience.
* A higher educational degree may be considered as substitution for some years of experience or additional years of experience over the minimum may be considered a substitution for the level of degree requirements
