Procurement Analyst

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Analyst to join our procurement team. As a pivotal member of our department, you will play a key role in optimizing our data-driven decision-making processes and contributing to the strategic direction of our procurement efforts. If you have a proven track record in data analysis, a deep understanding of procurement principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, we invite you to join us in shaping the future of our procurement operations.

Job Title: Procurement Analyst

Location: Remote


Responsibilities:

  • Analyze procurement data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support procurement initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Support the development and maintenance of procurement reporting tools and dashboards.
  • Partner with vendors and suppliers to optimize procurement processes and achieve cost savings.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess market trends.
  • Assist in contract negotiations and supplier management activities.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in procurement and data analytics.


Procurement Analyst Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as business, economics, statistics, or data science.
  • 5 years of experience in data analysis or a related field, with a strong understanding of procurement concepts and principles.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including Excel, SQL, and data visualization software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality of work.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required to support procurement activities.
