Job Title: Hazardous Waste Coordinator

Position Overview:
Our client, a renowned leader in environmental services, is currently seeking a Hazardous Waste Coordinator with a strong administrative focus to manage the backend operations associated with the safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous waste. This critical role will involve ensuring compliance with environmental regulations through meticulous record-keeping, coordination, and reporting. The Hazardous Waste Coordinator will be a key player in supporting the company’s commitment to workplace safety and environmental responsibility from an administrative perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the administrative aspects of hazardous waste disposal programs as the Hazardous Waste Coordinator, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of hazardous waste handling, storage, and disposal activities, showcasing the Hazardous Waste Coordinator's attention to detail.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, external disposal facilities, and regulatory agencies to ensure smooth operation of hazardous waste programs, emphasizing the organizational skills of the Hazardous Waste Coordinator.
  • Develop and implement administrative procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance within the hazardous waste management process, reflecting the proactive approach of the Hazardous Waste Coordinator.
  • Prepare and submit timely reports on hazardous waste activities to regulatory bodies, demonstrating the Hazardous Waste Coordinator's commitment to compliance and transparency.
  • Manage permits and documentation related to hazardous waste operations, a key responsibility of the Hazardous Waste Coordinator.
  • Serve as a point of contact for inquiries regarding hazardous waste management policies and procedures, underlining the communicative role of the Hazardous Waste Coordinator.

Qualifications:
